I don't have a huge amount of experience in wound care, not much more than surgery/recovery. A turtleneck sounds good? Poor girl!

Can you even blame them? Look at how silly they look.
A grey tortie kitten looking less than enthusiastic sitting on my chest. I'm laying flat on my back on my bus floor with one hand on her butt. The photo is taken POV style so you can see what I saw.
Emergency emotional support kitten!
She's not very good at it, but we're trying!
I was laying on the floor after a POTS attack but I snagged a Melody to snuggle with while I was stuck down there.
I love them!
He was so comfy!
I have never heard of catnip bubbles! I'll have to go find some.
A ginger kitten, half grown, on the back of a blue covered couch. He is sprawled, splayed, so his back legs fall on either side of the couch back. He is so comfy, and facing away from me. On a toilet paper box underneath a table, Crumpet, a grey cat is lounging, comfy and a little fat. In the crate on top of the table sits Sabine, a black cat with a white splash under her chin. She is in a green frog bed.
Sonnet is sprawled, comfy, unconfined.
Bonus Sabine and Crumpet in the background.
Sabine was crated so I could catch her and Meg for a vet app today.
A black hen with a rose comb. Around her legs are fluffy little black and white chicks, freshly hatched. She's standing under a small nectarine tree and there's a flooded trench in the background.
Here is mama and all of her babies.
I love her so SO much.
Sorry. It didn't make it.
If it helps, I can try and photograph her other very healthy babies?
Also a good soothing choice. I love teenagers, but they're sure something some days.
You need a snack and a nap and some noise cancelling headphones. Stat.
(I hear you)
STRENGTH CRUSHES ENEMIES! HAVE YOU HAD ENOUGH WATER TODAY?
Was a huge privilege! She doesn't offer her belly up very often.
A scared and angry black kitten with her ears back, looking ready to attack my outstretched hand holding chicken wing feathers. She has a bapping paw ready in case they try and eat her.
This is a big deal because look at how much more comfortable they are with my hand close to them!
Although Cadence was NOT a fan initially.
My chickens are moulting so there are lots of very good wing feathers all over the paddock. I snagged a couple as enrichment for Cadence and Melody and they're being so brave with their feather play!
Video has no talking, minimal sound.
He's such a good good boy!
Yes, yes she shall! Like three whole strokes before she decided it was enough.
Sometimes, yes. If she invites me to touch it, I'm usually allowed. Normally she won't invite touching if she doesn't want a belly rub.
Sabine, a black cat with a splash of white under her throat, lounging on a green chair. She's not looking as grumpy as she usually does. You can just see my blurry hip on the chair next to her.
Sabine is very long. She's still on the chair next to me, but now she is sprawled, stretched out to be as long as possible, with her belly exposed and her head pressed into my hip.
Never before seen! Sabine stayed sitting in the chair when I sat (perched) next to her. And then she rolled and demanded a belly rub!
A blurry photo of a black vaguely chick shaped fluffball on a purple blanket. I have a snugglesafe warmer underneath, and they're only unwrapped for this, frankly terrible, photo.
We are not getting attached, okay? Baby was cold in the nest this morning after mama shifted two feet and they didn't keep up. So they're back on a warming pad and I'm missing my incubator lots right now.
But thank god for snugglesafe pads.
Not on this phone, but I'll try and get a photo.
SO PROUD.
Isn't he just? Still a little nervous, but loving his life and asking for pets.
I am! They were all so scared when they came in, and now we're making progress!
I have no idea. Also I KNOW the egg wasn't pipped when I tossed it, so it's like a super super lucky baby who got helped to hatch by β¨gravityβ¨. (Whoops) (Not my finest moment, I usually have my phone with me to candle all eggs!)
A very smug half grown ginger kitten who is going to be huge. He is loafed on a shelf, and he was watching birds before I told him off. His nose has some black crusties, I should have cleaned them off before I took photos.
In other very exciting news, Sonnet is ready for adoption! I've written up his bio and he will be posted on FB in the coming days.
SO PROUD.
A black hen, in a corner underneath a blackberry bramble. She looks disgusted at my presence and also like she would peck my eyes out. It's all lies - she was pretty good when I slid the baby back under her.
If you look carefully at this utter mess of blackberries, you can see a squashed patch I stomped down with my shoe, and also a bit of a tunnel to the right top of the photo.
I can tell you about this now because I've just reunited baby with their mama, and it went well.
Sure, I had to crawl through blackberries, but that comes with the territory sometimes.
Brushed the ants off, got bitten a bunch, and then took the chick inside to hang out on a heat pad until their mama settled down for the night.
I threw the abandoned (and mostly rotten) eggs away, but an hour later had a *weird vibe* and went to double check where I'd thrown eggs. Lo and behold, there was a live chick, struggling under the weight of a million ants.
