TPG grant awarded 2 years ago to apply a residency model to future teachers (placed in a school/district & teacher candidates receive a stipend). It had the word diversity in it (to create a diverse pool of teacher candidates). Completely canceled immediately. Residents will not receive funding.

It happened. My colleague’s federal grant regarding teacher residency (training future teachers) got cancelled today. I was a researcher on that grant and was contributing social studies expertise. I shouldn’t be surprised, but I am. We don’t need teachers anyway, right?

Amy Klobuchar was on Morning Joe this morning. She asked that people email their reps/senators because emails become a part of the record, whereas phone calls don't.
