If the treatment were that good, there would be no reason to make the claim. It would have been self-evident.
No idea why, despite following Emma, I only ever saw her magnificent threads second hand after someone else has quoted them so here I am doing my bit to spread the good word!

I don't think this is a long term conflict. Trump doesn't have the attention span nor the resilience to withstand public disapproval or economic pain. What concerns me is that events spiral out of control as a result of Iranian retaliation.
* I'm not actually convinced Trump is a liar in the traditional sense of the word (i.e. that he knows the truth but says something else).
I don't think Trump thinks in terms of (or even differentiates) fact or fiction, he's more concerned with getting out whatever words achieve the desired effect.
...so, if I've understood this correctly, you're using the words of a demonstrable and consistent liar* to validate the claim?
Is it really a war?
Play along with Andrew Heaton's new game show.
Of all the complaints against Starmer, the most absurd is that it's "weak" to have a Cabinet that doesn't just rubber-stamp what The Leader wants on questions of war & peace.
I'd take Cabinet govt - in which ministers kick the tyres of big decisions - over the kneel-and-obey model of Farage any day
I know the question is rhetorical but I'm going to point to the Backfire Effect.
If you argue a case, your own position hardens as you put forward your points and dismiss others. Blair has been arguing Iraq almost every day since the decision was made. Internally, his position must be unassailable.
Starmerβs position is entirely consistent with what he wrote about Iraq in 2003, a fact of enormous inconvenience to just about everybody currently criticising it. Happily for them, just like the entire bloody Chilcot Inquiry it is apparently very easy to ignore.
Just fascinating to see Blair, a man whose reputation was ruined by the Iraq war, advocate joining a war that is exponentially stupider and more chaotic. How is it possible to learn nothing from the worst mistake of your life?
Thereβs always a danger of embracing hyperbole when a moment is still unfolding but I do wonder whether, for many past admirers, Tony Blair has just destroyed every last vestige of the βlegacyβ he cares so much about. Traditionally, Mandelson would now be advising him on how to turn things roundβ¦
TBF I suspect the demand for glitter will be equally challenging... π€·ββοΈ

Would you like some dressing to go with that word salad?
I'm not offened by how stupid they are*.
I am offended by how stupid they think everyone else is.

* Ok maybe I'm a little offended by how stupid they are.

Gut reaction: "plagiarism is bad" shocker π
2nd thoughts: how come so many people are unaware that the the current generation of AI is basically run on internet-wide mass plagiarism?
3rd thoughts: The case to make is not "AI bad", it's that "AI is theft". Explain the issue then let people decide.

Sun headline about Β£500k compensation for migrants, discussing human rights, and public outcry over payouts.
Did you see this headline?
Did you feel the requisite anger and rage at asylum seekers that The Sun was asking of you?
Did you maybe blame Starmer because.... um... it was probably his faultπ€·ββοΈ
Would you like to know the reality behind the headline?
Course you would!π
