The Constitution is clear: Congress decides on war. When a president uses military force without authorization and Congress stays silent, they are abandoning their role as a co equal branch of government. War is the most serious power our government has. Shame on the U.S. Senate today.

If I was a Democrat with a few million dollars to spare, I’d spend the next two months running ads in the TX Republican Primary to make the eventual nominee unpalatable to the other candidate’s voters.
