As a morning timeline cleanser, enjoy a very short thread of animals given official Zoological names after odd things.

Ok, everyone in academia: can we please stop calling teaching a "burden"? For some of us it's the main reason why we're here, it's fun, engaging, motivating, developmental...
I just saw the term "teaching burden" used twice in an email from academic leadership, and it made me indignant.
