I’m not “convinced” I value due process and human rights, and I wouldn’t throw that away because I find the person repugnant. If you are willing to throw away DP for Trump then you are justifying Trumps’s logic of denying DP to immigrants.

As long as it done through the legal system and doesn’t violate their constitutional rights, then it would be a valid prosecution. If Trump and Elon disagrees, then they could appeal, which is also their right. I do think the US justice system isn’t equipped for this, the ICC would be a better venue

That's vengeance, not justice. It would not be perfect to say that Elon and Trump should go to a concentration camp without due process when that's the same behavior that we condemn. I don't like them either, but this is not the way. We can't stoop to their level; otherwise, we risk becoming them.

How could you endorse what you condemn? It makes you look unserious or, at the very least, ungenuine. I believe Trump should face charges, but he should get due process and go to regular prison.

Honestly, I'm satisfied with the work the SocDems are doing but they aren't the problem. It's Jefferies, Schumer, Ken Martin. They have voiced several times that they do not care about the concerns of their base, and would rather play dead than fight back. They will still beg us for money tho.

This contradiction will prevent any meaningful legislation impossible from an oligarch.

The truth is that the majority are workers, not oligarchs. And the needs of the majority of people are antithetical to the desires of the rich. Safety, worker rights, and a vast amount of regulations that protect the public from harm affect the bottom line of the capital class.
