I remember the first time I got rolled on a comic I’d had on my pull list since issue 1. Amazing Spider-Man #36 (2001). Said he couldn’t get it. Then I saw him trying to sell one for £30 a week later. I stop going shortly afterwards.
This is one of my favorite old commissions I drew. I usually don’t do this kinds of noodle inking but was really inspired by ol’ Swampy. Everything clicked with the brush on this one.
What was the fix? (Just in case work decided to get us to use it)
This is a nightmare.

The day after we put the final touches on issues #88-91 of “Swamp Thing”, news broke about the passing of Tatjana Wood, the original colorist on the series. Tomorrow, March 2nd, would have been Tatjana’s 100th birthday. Let’s raise a glass to one of comics’ originals.

Hush was a nothing Batman event and Hush 2 is the proof.
So sad to share that legendary colorist Tatjana Wood has passed away at the age of 99. Her pioneering painterly touch graced scores of DC & Vertigo series. She was truly one of a kind and a special friend. May her memory be a blessing.
