It's only bizarre to people who want to live a good life and who believe in equality for all not just the few. Which I hope is more of the population than not. But those who use it for their own gain have the loudest voices.

Yes, using religion as a reason to hate or oppress makes me so angry. I'm not at all religious and it's because of these sorts of things that I dislike it so much. Too many pretend 'christians'

It's supposed to be in our politics too as far as I'm aware, but the bad ones always manage to use it to try and forward their agenda. Keep your fingers crossed for us on Saturday.

Yes I'm in Australia. I don't know if there's a large fundamentalist Christian influence, possibly more so on the east coast, but it doesn't seem to be a big thing here on the west coast. I think religion and politics should not be allowed to influence the other.

We have voting here on the 3rd, all of the people I know are very worried that the Liberal government will get in. He's already declared he agrees with many of trumps policies. We are hopeful that will shift the vote away from him.

And not just in the US, it's like it's catching or something, or people feel they've been given permission to be hateful and discriminatory

It's discouraging how many people are crawling out of their holes with hate against people who are different to them. It's awful to see the world going backwards, so much progress being lost to hateful people and agendas.

She certainly is magnificent! And yes, I agree, anyone not moved by her must be dead. She has so much courage and passion, we need more people with this speaking up.
