A large pot with a rim formed of two clay coils atop each other that slightly narrow the pot opening. Its sides have protruding zig zags that accentuate a straight line vertical and herringbone pattern carved into the clay. Two handles made from coils tilt outward on the upper third. The glaze is shiny and the colour patterns break where the texture is carved into the pot

A mug that narrows below the lip and then slowly widens toward the base with a simple curved handle. The glaze is mottled by dark spots and colour variations as a part of the glaze formula.

I made some more things. Experimental bubble underglaze, covering up an underglaze mistake successfully on the mugs, and successfully glazing the largest piece I’ve ever made - destined to be a pot for my lemon tree. #ceramics #pottery
