MSF took the floor at @who.int World Health Assembly. Our statements included calls for Member States to implement the new Pandemic Agreement, and to prioritise universal access to care for diabetes, mental health conditions, and cervical cancer.

Hey @novonordisk.bsky.social, all #insulin pens must be available at $1 per pen, so that everyone can access the highest standard of diabetes treatment, especially as their cost of production is estimated to be as low as $0.94 per pen, including a profit.

MSF welcomes Novo Nordisk’s commitment to supply South Africa with analogue insulin pens, but the price must come down to $1 per pen Novo Nordisk starts supply of analogue insulin pens to South Africa but price remains high still. All insulin pens must be available at $1 per pen.
