Comic Arts Maine Portland (CAMP) is thrilled to announce the 2026 return of the S'mores Awards mini-grants for New England-based emerging cartoonists! These grants are made possible by the generous contribution of CAMP sponsor and local Portland bookstore, Back Cove Books.
Submissions for the S'mores Awards will be open from Monday, March 2nd to Sunday, March 29th at 11:59 PM EST. This is a juried, $300 mini-grant given to two artists who are primarily self-published to support the printing of a new mini comic. 2026 awardees will be announced at Comic Arts Maine Portland on Saturday, April 11th at 2:30PM.
