Just added page transitions to celaro.co
Literally one click.
Why didnβt I do this sooner?
Itβs a minor fade,

Building an MVP isnβt easy.
Itβs a constant battle between vision and reality. Hereβs how we scaled down our ambitions to focus on the essentials and bring Celaro closer to launch. π οΈπ§΅

Weekly Highlight [01-2025]
One of the things we got in place this week was the functionality that automatically generates branch names for Git. You will be able to specify the structure in your workspace-settings by using variables.

Fair enough. I totally get that. Itβs frustrating when services shift focus, leaving early users behind. Since youβre investing your own time, you might as well go with the safe bet rather than gamble with something uncertain.

Absolutely. If a service solves your specific problem, itβs an obvious choice.
But what if you had two options: one that solves the problem perfectly now but offers no extras, and another thatβs less optimal today but, with time, will match the first and add features you didnβt know youβd need?

When choosing a service, what matters more to you: having all the features you need right now, even if future updates are rare, or choosing one with fewer features today but plenty of innovations planned for the future?

Nice, congrats on hitting those goals!
I didnβt set traditional goals but aimed to build daily habits like language learning, reading, and cold showers. Reading wasnβt fully successful, but the others stuck.
For my side hustle, the goal was to release Celaro Beta, progress made but not live yet.

And what about 2025? Got any plans or goals set already?

Weekly Highlight [52-2024]
This weekβs focus was improving the Kanban boards. The main accomplishment was making columns and drawers draggable, making the boards more practical and user-friendly.

Haha, yup, apparently. I donβt have any experience with Asana though.
Any specific reason you switched from Trello to Asana?

Yeah, Linear is slick! My side-hustle buddy swears by it, especially for the shortcuts and speed. Iβve explored it briefly, totally see the appeal for developers.
Curious though, has it completely replaced other tools for you, or do you use it alongside something else?

I'm also a Trello user and havenβt really thought about it, but now that you mention it, a proper drag-and-drop for parent-child tasks would be a game-changer! Trelloβs simplicity is great, but subtasks could definitely use some love.

Curious, are you happy with the features, or is there something you'd add if you could? What would it be?

Recently, I've been focused on updating the website for
@celaroapp.bsky.social.
Our goal was to streamline the design by removing unnecessarily long sections.
I think the new feature section on the homepage highlights this perfectly.
