Oh yeah… money. God dammit. Chapter 4 draft is done. Up to about 18,000 words already and the plot has barely got out the starting gate. And here I was worried it would be too short. Silly me.

Yeah, some grain mites got in with some food, those things look like dust unless you know what to look for and multiplied in the bio-active substrate my boys have and BOOM infestation. I think I have finally sorted it tho. 😅. Hope so. Been driving me insane.
Just need to get up, brush off the dust and get back on the horse. It is the year of the horse after all haha.
I have had writer’s block for months…. Between genAI and the world ‘politics’ 😒 and an effing mite infestation I have been battling. The creative energy has just not been there. I also lost a lot of my family members (my rattie babies)… ok maybe I’ve been too harsh on myself… 🤔
I’ve had writer’s block for months due to a combination of bullshit AI in my face, world ‘politics’ and battling a mite infestation at home (-1000/10 would not recommend) but want to try and get back on the horse and keep going. Don’t let the bastards grind you down.
I am so sorry. 🫂. I’ve had all of my writing on AO3 fed into AI too. It’s heartbreaking and infuriating. Those pretenders are a bunch of losers who wish they could do what we can but are too lazy to try.

Or any other genAI. I spend hours writing my book. I spend time trying to learn how to draw and I’m trying to learn Portuguese from a bought course. I have no need whatsoever to use this crap. I like my mental health the way it is thanks.
