I just gotta say: dear #catlover please spay/neuter your pets. The last 4 litters we have brought in are because people didn't want to spend the $100-$500 and they ended up on our doorstep. It has now cost us well over $50k and we are broke AF. $3k today alone.
Night time vet visit because kitty isn't breathing well. At least during the day you can pretend all the bustling isn't for you...
Having a cat with any health issue is stressful. Having one with nasal cancer and a cold feels like a nightmare...

NaNo2025 is a wrap. My totals are abysmal but I learned a lot. 1) Its easier to write more/faster when you are warm. 2) Tackling a form of literature from another country requires a lot of research. 3) cats really don't help.
I knew I'd be busy but I'm still glad I tried. Grand total: 8,095 words.
Honestly, it would be fine if I knew more of Chinese history and terms. I keep stopping during writing to look up a term or make sure I got certain ideas right. Just goes to show that reading and playing isn't enough!

My biggest issue with this NaNo is that I got sucked into a new video game (Where Winds Meet) while trying a new genre (xanxia/Xuanhuan).

Just finished the movie Bones & All staring Timothée Chalamet and Taylor Russell, based on the book of the same name by Camille DeAngelis (yes, I'm a bit late) and holly... it is NOT what I expected. The recommendation to watch Dinner in America was a nice touch, tubi. I'll be eating tomorrow...
