For better or for worse I tend to hyperfocus on things (this applies to much more than just art) and pick at them until they are to my satisfaction 😅 So focus isn't an issue for me as my perfectionist drive heavily influences a lot of my productive behavior

Also, when I do studies I always trace because the amount of time it would take me to make the shapes look right would absolutely make me quit before getting to the rendering

It took discipline to push through on this one because it looked quite ugly for a decent amount of time. I’m surprised I didn’t throw in the towel in the first like 12ish seconds of this timelapse 😅

And it’s all thanks to @khamisu.bsky.social for taking a comment “what if I added a little painted dog to my sona” and making a quick sketch of it! I’ve loved the design ever since!
