(4) While this next book will take us all on a journey through confusion, anger, vengeance, and growth, it is also intended to add a little whimsy to make us grown-ups remember what it felt like to be a child with hope.

(3) I am proudly a feminist writer. I am not quiet about the realities in our world. I will call it out over and over again. Transforming all of this pent up rage into written art is what gets me through it.

(2) My books and writings are meant to shed light on the cruelty in our wake and the vengeance and hope we all need to get through this.

It is not easy for me to find joy when the world around us is burning and innocent people are dying at the hands of our government. (1)

It feels like I get TONS of views with much smaller population of followers and even a much much smaller population of buyers. I feel like we’ve moved into a scroll-happy social media society and further away from conversations.

This is interesting to read. I have noticed less from the cis boys club, but I also market my books as FEMINIST, so it keeps a lot of those types away (which is fine by me).

Yes! Would love to hear what’s working for others. I know I probably need to start making reels and doing some spoken word, but I do so much talking and video recording in my day job that it feels exhausting doing it for my writing.
