Why Trump Is Partnering With Christian Nationalists | Robert Reich
Why Trump Is Partnering With Christian Nationalists | Robert Reich Donald Trump keeps comparing himself to Jesus.Whether he actually has a messiah complex or is just conning his supporter

Top U.S. military commanders have reportedly told their troops that Trump's War on Iran will "cause Armageddon and mark Jesus' return to earth."

It's yet another example of the dangerous relationship Trump has cultivated with Christian nationalists.

Hegseth and Trump have the same 'I take pleasure in inflicting pain, suffering and death' vibe.

Pure sadism. You can hear it in their speeches.

This is how they define power, the pinnacle of their masculinity: hurting others.

"Politically correct wars"?!

The term politically correct has taken on a new meaning I guess.

I think we can safely say they are all threats (of varying degrees and kinds). We don't have to choose.

Dear Sir Albert: please write the fc king introduction.

Is it just anecdotal or are there a lot of places going out of business right now in #Ottawa? The taco place on Wellington, Kitchississippi brewery, the Boba tea place on Richmond, etc. Maybe this is normal in February/March? Or is this just the new normal? (I presume there's actual data somewhere)

Asking Sir Albert to write the F.C King introduction would have been fun

Yes, the author was a real guy and this is a real book. (I'm learning about the no dig garden method).

Imagine the conversation with his publisher when he insisted on using his middle initial. He was not fc king around!

Finally, an article about the real victims of this war: piles of money

T-minus three weeks until β€œwhy don’t women want to date them?”

So far the war in Iran has cost an estimated $5.5 billion.

That's roughly $1 billion per day.

$41,666,667 per hour.

$11,574 per second.

People do not want this.

They want a living wage. They want healthcare. They want to be able to afford a home. They want their basic needs met.

Does anyone know where I can buy these in the Ottawa area? It's a circa 1920s air vent/grate.

My house is missing one for some reason (there's an ugly modern one there instead but I want them to match).

They are very heavy so buying one online is not ideal.

Here's a unique sign of coming spring.

My solar lantern came on for the first time this season (forgot to bring it inside in the autumn).

It has either been buried in snow or too dark to come on.

Cross-country skiing along the #OttawaRiver at sunset.

How is this whimsical?

Well, I had not planned on skiing back home in the dark (no headlamp) but I kept following the sunset because it was so gorgeous and it drew me out further and further.

Totally worth it

Somebody should show them what school teachers get paid in Canada (well with good bennies).
