We are deeply saddened to hear the news that John Prescott has died. John was a staunch defender of local government & a passionate supporter of devolution. He was a great campaigner who will be missed by so many in our Party.

In a snowy County Hall today for the Place Scrutiny Cttme meeting focusing on the response to #StormBabet.
I questioned Council's flood team, Environment Agency and water companies to ensure lessons are learned after the devastating floods that affected 1,700 homes and tragically claimed a life.
From X to BlueSky: trading questionable algorithms, bigots and bile for freedom, civility and fresh air. Hope this move is as refreshing as it sounds. ๐๐ผ๐น
Livestock are treated better than commuters in High Peak.
The services provided by Northern are not good enough. Cancellations, delays & overcrowding are commonplace.
Iโll be raising these issues at a meeting with management at Northern.
We need improvement & fast.
