The Nintendo 64 version of Mortal Kombat Trilogy exclusively has an Ultimate Kombat Kode that went undiscovered for years until someone had discovered it within the hex code. Even the official strategy guide covering the N64 version didn't know of the exact code but correctly guessed what it does

To refresh minds, he's one of my very first characters, inspired in part by Kevin Bayliss' Star Fox designs. He's a space samurai and also a kitsune who commands black fire.

Her tail's the only thing stretchy about her, 'case you're wondering. She is a pretty prominent character though so you'll see plenty of fighting from her. I do like that it seems like her tail is such a functional third arm that she can form rudimentary fingers with it

Thought it'd be nice to point out that whoever was the background artist for this movie likely grew up with Genesis MKII since that's what this version of the Portal stage is based on, which was used exclusively for secret character fights in lieu of Goro's Lair.

I see. Meant to say that it also reminded me of The Grid but this obviously predates that. Sucks it got canned though. Would've made for a fun romp for my siblings and I had it come out.

I'm kinda curious though about that splitscreen technique, how that was done on the N64.

That would've been pretty neat. Reminds me of Smash TV and, but has platforming elements to it.

And those are player race options right? If so, how would that have affected gameplay? Who gets what perks?

It was a futuristic, violent TV game-show sport. There was fighting, but the main aim was to race up towers. It had a really innovative pvp split-screen that rotated.
There's one of the concept levels & character design sheets. It even got mentioned in a few mags during dev.
