On to "Alien: Covenant".

Largely panned by fans of the original trilogy, Covenant deserves a shot as the film it was meant to be.

At the end of "Prometheus", we see the creation of the first Xenomorph, which was a hybrid offspring between a trilobite and the engineer.

Round 1: "PROMETHEUS"

I was already a die hard "Alien" fan, but, upon viewing "PROMETHEUS" for the first time and recognizing the Gnostic elements in the film, I fell even more in love.

Unpopular opinion:
"Prometheus" and "Covenant" brought a new, deeper context to the entire franchise.

Agreed. Unfortunately, it has, in fact, created an echo chamber for the left.
