Exactly! I read the fall previews and it’s not at all promising! They got those girls contradicting themselves over such a lackluster character. I’m so done with it. One of the worst triangles ever. Poor wishy washy writing. Terrible man to fight over. I love Eva, but not these stories for her. 😢
You’re stronger than me. I didn’t even turn my TV on today. I’m tired. I liked those few Laura/Eva scenes, but I see Laura wasn’t meant to be anything more than a prop. Never saw Eva as Leslie 2.0 as some viewers. Now I think the writers are attempting to strongly emphasize that last minute.
We’re in our seventh month of a new soap. There’s more interesting stories for other characters yet Eva seems to be stuck in a rinse/repeat cycle. At least have her hop a train to Chicago to uncover more about Barbara’s life since Leslie’s only interested in the money. Bring Peaches back. Something!
They refuse to move Eva around she has never been given a friend outside of toast aka “Tomas” to fully explore how she was raised, what an awful mother Leslie has been. I want to know who Eva is outside of her trash parents, her beef with Katherine, and lust for the android. #beyondthegates #btg
Yessss!!! And this was around the time Laura got released. It would have been interesting to see Eva being torn whenever she interacted w/Laura and also showing the degrees of her mama’s abuse. You’re absolutely right. The writers refuse to go there. I think they just prefer Trish/Ambyr as a unit.
I can definitely see that. Eva should have moved past this Leslie drama when she started bonding with Ted’s side of the family, build her independence. Instead, Eva’s hiding the Laura evidence, spending time with Leslie despite the stealing and begging Ted for money, and still flirting with Nomas…
I sure do miss Eva interacting with other people, especially Martin. I wonder what their conversations would have been like, Eva supporting Sam and Tyrell too.

Was complaining about this last week. I get that Chelsea and Kat are very close, but they are playing it like Naomi is the cousin and I don't like that.
That’s what I’m not liking about this story. There’s no conversations between Jacob/Naomi. She’s not part of the rescue effort. Sounds like he doesn’t keep her in the loop at all. Not calling before reaching the cabin??!! She has no location on him?! Very problematic. #btg #beyondthegates
