He kept telling me I should try to find those books elsewhere. So I am. He’s going to lose a lot of money from me. All for some cheap big one time sales.
That’s how an LCS loses customers. Today, I say name them and shame them. I watch children on TikTok getting these hot books at cover price, so I know there are good shops out there. Those shops should ABSOLUTELY be promoted! They’re keeping excitement alive in comics. The flippers & bad LCS’ ain’t.
A very good reason to abandon your LCS.

I’m about to switch comic shops and mostly on the basis my shop has skipped me on every “hot book” in the last 2 months. Pick any hot book older than 5 years as “A.” Then pick the hot book of today for “B.” 95% of the time, the A book will win. It should take a first story arc to determine FOMO. 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻
It takes 2 seconds in the TikTok editor, whereas the YouTube editor is very very simple. After Effects is easier than the YouTube video editor.
