Apparently ALTTP came out in the US after FF4 but I got ALTTP first and FF4 (labeled 2 in the US back then) at a garage sale a year or so later.
The footage in Resident Evil almost made my eyes water. It was so beautiful seeing those actors put so much emotion and power into performing. You could really feel the passion they have for acting.
Especially in the Vtuber community. So many Vtubers and saying "it doesn't hurt anyone, it just saves me money". But it does hurt people. Motion capture artists are people. That's their art. Their career. Entire teams of people. It's an industry full of amazing talent. Fuck AI
One of my favorite singers retired in 2017 and became a motion capture artist. She works in the Bang Dream franchise and even worked on Bocchi The Rock. Resident Evil requiem had some BTS footage of motion capture. It drives me insane seeing people say AI motion capture is acceptable.

But also I shouldn't need an app to do ANYTHING in the real world. Some stores now don't even show prices? They just have a QR code. Fuck that. I'm just shopping somewhere else. Also, you can get malware by scanning random QR codes.
Just how much do I care about privacy? No discount can convince me to install any store-specific fucking app.
For VNs in particular, there was dozens I played and loved before LB! such as Kana Little Sister, Ever17, Planetarian, and Narcisscu. But Little Busters! was a truly magical experience that I've never felt before or since. I heard White Album 2 might trigger that feeling again though...

I always find it funny when the anti-woke crowd attack games for censorship when it's literally their side (particularly the religious organizations) who are pushing for censorship. Latest example is the remaster for Fatal Frame 2. The clothing is moderately tamer than the OG game.
