In fact, for someone who accused me of whataboutism, your first reply in this thread was literally that. Trans women in bathrooms -> what about trans rapists in prison? Then you proceeded to act like I insulted you directly when I gave a rebuttal to your argument, which you still haven't defended.

Putting any trans person in the prison of the opposite gender opens the door to every trans person being put in prisons of the opposite gender. Trans people are typically housed in separate cells. TERF rhetoric is exactly what you're doing, reducing people to their genitals alone.

I know, and I doubt I'll change her mind, but it's always better to assume ignorance before maliciousness. Could she be just some bigot? Probably. She could also be a woman sliding down the TERF pipeline who just needs some real facts to see trans people as people for once and snap out of it.

I haven't been to prison, but I can't logically believe a trans woman would get away with this sort of behavior to begin with. Hormones make them no stronger than cis women and a lot of women in prisons are victims of SA themselves. To me, it sounds like signing your own death warrant.

I never called you a terf, you chose to reply on the topic of trans women using the bathroom to call out trans women in prisons, implying you not only want women to use men's bathrooms, but to also send them to men's prisons. I was appealing to your sense of logic to the dangers that poses.

SA is an unforgivable crime without any justification. I believe we can both agree on this fact. What do you think will happen to trans women in men's prisons? Punishing all trans women for the crimes of a small minority of them by forcing them into a dangerous environment? Think about that.

In fact, most of the studies show trans women are not only less likely to commit SA than cis women, they are at an elevated risk of being SAed. 1 in 6 cis women experience SA in their lifetime while half of all trans people are SAed. What you are advocating for is putting women in men's prisons.

Every group has some percentage of evil people among them, but statistically speaking women both trans and cis have more to fear from cis women than trans women. There is no evidence to suggest trans women commit SA at an elevated rate compared to cis women.

That's the reason they want trans women in the men's bathrooms. It's not hard to put those pieces together.

Farmers who are losing their homes still support him, patients dying of covid supported him till the end, the sick and elderly won't be able to afford essential medication soon and they'll keep supporting him as they die. Their hatred of "The Left" is stronger than their love or survival instincts.
