Glad to see I wasn’t the only one that vehemently hated this movie.
Was fortunate enough to catch GOOD LUCK, HAVE FUN, DON’T DIE at Berlinale (it doesn’t open in Germany until mid-March). Absolutely loved this bonkers, batshit takedown of screen obsession and the promised AI-led technological utopia. Can’t wait to see it again.

Forgot about the embargo lifting today for AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH (I thought it was happening tomorrow). Overall, I loved the film and I’m excited to see it again tomorrow night — and possibly once more next week with my kiddo — but it’s not without shortcomings.

Rian Johnson clearly had a lot on his mind regarding the intersection of religion, politics and power when he wrote Wake Up, Dead Man. Razor sharp and funny as hell, naturally, but surprisingly poignant to boot. The cast is aces, but Glenn Close and Josh O’Connor are the MVPs.
What a shame. Tammie was always such a lovely person to interact with. My heart goes out to her family and loved ones.
