It’s a little purl slip stitch pattern I found in a Japanese magazine which I adapted for my sweater ~ but it gives the impression of an I-cord “faux running stitch” in and out of the jumper!!

That is stunning! A Lopi cardigan is next on my wish list! I love your colourway!

In research for a medical humanities article I am hoping to publish , you might be tickled to learn that the first ever handheld ultrasound was made in 1951 with a quartz crystal and rubber from a condom that was used to visualise a tumour in a woman’s breast!

Really helped to improve my technique &learn more about this amazing ancient craft

I’ve been processing raw sheep fleeces from scratch a project I’m calling #farmtofibre

I started off with a gorgeous moorit 🤎 and the rare Boreray Orkney 🤍and now I’ve got myself a black Shetland fleece🖤🖤🖤
