I know this makes me sound like an old fuddy duddy, but making my favorite animation list makes me realize just how much I miss hand drawn animation. The little imperfections, the warmth, the lines squiggling here and there. You could feel the humanity in every frame. Everything looks so clean now.

At this point it’s been said in a hundred different ways, so I think people are being intentional about not getting it.

Wish more people realised that for most art businesses, there's only one person doing all the work. Creating, shipping, admin, promotion, starting feuds with other artists, painting unflattering portraits of them into historical scenes, trying to poison them, it's all one person.

A swatch set of the Kuretake Gansai Tambi granulating watercolors. One on hot press and one on cold press. Very interesting colors that look better the more water you use! Can’t wait for the right piece to use these on! :D
