I think we need to give up on the idea that we can promote from within for the OC role. We tried it twice and it didn’t work. Sirianni is definitely good at promoting a certain culture and vision among the players, but when it comes to the offense, it’s clear he needs better help.
Mike McDaniel is interviewing for Head Coaching jobs and I’m confident he can get one. But has he considered becoming Philly’s OC instead? The things we could do with that roster. Probably another Super Bowl. Even a 2 year stint would potentially give McDaniel any HC job he wants.
