Funding was secured to improve the playground & pond, but while the playground works lasted, the pond has not.
There are also drainage issues from the A4, failed lighting under the A4 (TfL), and poor lighting in the park.
When will residents see fixes?
Our Green Councillor says Carville Hall Park South is a beautiful, historic space—once the garden of a stately home and shaped by the area’s clay-extraction past (“Clayponds”). It deserves better care and long-term maintenance.

The pond has turned into green sludge, raising serious concerns about water quality & environmental health.
