This thread is really good. All other things being equal I absolutely agree with it. Toothless criticism isn't criticism, it's cowardice. Have a perspective and write honestly from it, even if it's an acerbic or bitter perspective.

I'm not "bad" at 3rd Strike. Can get rounds or games or even sets off of good players depending on the matchup. Beat players a tier or two above me in bracket, even with Elena and Twelve. Worse players aren't touching me.
I played Frankie3S once, CB2017 side bracket. Wasn't even the same game.
this is one of my all time favorite tweets and if you'll forgive me being a serious tennis nerd about it for a second, tennis is one of those sports where it's really difficult to overstate how many levels there are between you and the pros

With Pokemon, I brought a *ridiculously* low-tier team to a tournament (it had Beedrill) and won and got called a try-hard by a guy with Groudon on his team because I had a strategy. This is Goliath calling a slingshot unfair.
I think the issue is similar to one we had with Magic where someone can say "let's play for fun" while bringing a mana base costing $200+ and get pissed at someone (me) playing a $25 combo deck. It's all so subjective.
