I am on the mailing lists for two candidates for governor of WI (Hong and Roys). I have gotten fifty times the emails from one that I've gotten from the other in the last couple weeks. Interesting strategies!
Also I think they'd both be good governors from what I know of them.

In our little journey back to the early 2000s in both nostalgia and wars, have we again started making movies where one guy fights nature? Because sending Ryan Gosling to fight the sun feels like...Armageddon redux?

Also 27k turns out to be about 18 miles by my watch. 🤔

Before race and after race. The temp dropped 15° between leaving Madison and arriving at the park an hour away. Also it was very muddy. I listened to an excellent audiobook and later signed with a couple of HOH people. Good times. I look forward to feeling my fingers again later.

Sam would definitely be a little befuddled by this, but also solemnly appreciative.
Although this is kind of a sad moment (Sam is aware that Howard would not relate any of his other achievements, like stage managing plays or learning guitar), I have been laughing about how marrying a professor is, in his mind, a flex, and the look Ellen would give him if she knew he thought that.
