really tired of conversations about how we need to get people to spend more time offline that don't acknowledge that one of the reasons people ARE online is their access needs aren't being met in physical spaces. This is especially true for queer people and disabled people.

If you don’t put at least a little of your own ass into an OC, why bother! It doesn’t make them YOU!!! It makes them YOURS!!!!! And it’s always painfully clear when people don’t really “get” their OCs and make them for other people more than themselves.

People act like this is some taboo thing and it’s like, why do you think you gravitate to characters that AREN’T yours? Because they, too, feature narratives or traits you relate to, aspire to, or just plain enjoy in some way. Why would you make an OC you have no personal fascination with, tbh??

been really wanting to doodle couple-y stuff, so even though they've never been an official couple, I really like doodling moments from when matt and dan essentially WERE one
