Section 3 is an essential program that ensures low income workers are being hired for federal contracts in their own neighborhood. Last wee we launched the Gowanus Model Section 3 Initiative in partnership with the National Institute for Section 3 Empowerment (NISE).

Grateful to Chabad of Carroll Gardens for quickly replacing the Carroll Park menorah. We’ve been in close contact with the 76th Precinct, which reviewed footage & determined that the damage was caused by wind and hail. We reaffirm that antisemitism has no place in our city.
