Although DeSantis might have "weaponized" Autism which really means manipulating a person with a disability.
Sadly the far-right does target Autistic people with propaganda. See also (maybe) Elon Musk.

The full article is a lot more interesting than the headline.
Honestly I don't care if DeSantis has Autism or not, what matters is his actions. A lot of people manage to have Autism without being a far-right lunatic.
How else do you think Trump got elected?
Never forget the way Republicans tricked Democrats to stay home: www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
I very regretfully used to be a Republican and Trump supporter and I (thankfully on a very small scale) told frustrated Democrats to vote for Jill Stein without ever mentioning I'm a Republican.
Maybe based on when Grok or whatever shitty LLM they use decides to end it with that.
Some of those that work forces are the same that burn crosses.
I wish those lyrics didn't hold up as well as they did.
Are they even using the right type of paint?
They look like the are painting slowly and inefficiently and they can just wear gloves to avoid the heat. What a huge waste of taxpayer money.
The problem is that bots used wedge issues to demotivate likely Democrat voters.
www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
We must never fall for this again. Accelerationism doesn't work, progress is like driving from point A to point B. Trump is like going in reverse.
We got to try everything we can including voting. It shouldn't be our only tool but if we register people and vote in large numbers it will be impossible for the GOP to do anything but accept the results.
They're still at it:

ronald-sadler.bsky.social
george-barlow.bsky.social
judy-patterson.bsky.social
I blocked and reported them all. Do likewise.
I was shocked at how many people liked some of "her" posts. I wonder if a lot of the likes are coming from bots too.
I think people would trust the media a lot more if they stopped sanewashing Trump and holding Democrats to a different standard than Republicans.
Does anyone know if the rabbit emoji in his name is a reference to this? Given his racism I see this to be at-least plausible.

On the topic of "gutter racism" does anyone know if the rabbit emoji in his name is a reference to this?

Of course there are flames in the background because Trump is burning America.
That's an AI generated photo.

That's not a real photo though, it's AI generated spam.
They'll just wear gloves. What a moron Trump is.
Maybe that person is AI. Did you noticed he used Unicode quotes instead of the straight quotes you'd find on a keyboard? Who actually bothers to find those characters when typing? I know certain word processors add them automatically but I've never seen a web browser do it.
Purity testing strikes again. I'm sure if elected he'll be way better than the Republicans on gun control no matter what he says.
For #3 what I meant to say is the media runs weak articles that softly denounce what's Trump doing while also somehow managing to normalize it at the same time while failing to realize that Trump doesn't do things in good faith, he does things because he wants to be a dictator.
It happens over and over again.
1. Trump does something stupid.
2. Experts say it's a bad idea.
3. The media runs articles like this we talked to experts.
4. Trump keeps doing it anyway and insults the experts.
5. The bad things predicted by the experts happen just as they said.
In my case though on web the post does disappear when blocking the account so I couldn't press show less like this if I block the account using that method so for discover I will do what you say and open the profile in a new tab, block the account then press show less like this.
I learned it's possible when you see a post you don't want to see to directly block an account without first clicking on the profile by clicking on the three dots in the lower right hand corner and pressing block account directly.
I think I noticed the same issue you did where I clicked on an account to block it but then later I saw similar content in the discover feed.
I submitted a suggestion to Bluesky that the discover feed should take your blocklist into account and prevent similar content from showing.
I will try it next time I see something or better yet hopefully there isn't a next time (thankfully recently I've been lucky and not seeing that kind of stuff).
The EU, UK, Canada, South Korea and Japan should all focus on increasing support to Ukraine no matter what the US does.
I tell you if everyone went around their community and blocked Fox "News" on every single public TV (ex: hospital) the world would be a better place.
If you got a smartphone you can control any TV. Some phones got a built in IR blaster and some need a USB-C IR blaster. Try your TV at home first
