We'll only care if it's good, I'm fine with waiting.

I would happily pay one more percentage point on the HST, for bridge tolls, and for parking to help fund grants, museums, bus passes for students, and more #taxmedaddy.
Hopefully we learn next time not to give him a super majority.
Unsurprising the PCs spend the least amount of time in the legislature as possible. Almost funny they have so many weak ministers when they have almost all the seats.
The Province of Nova Scotia doesn't think Halifax is doing enough to encourage new housing.
The Province could have responded by forcing Halifax to allow more density in its urban core.
Instead, the Province is forcing Halifax to allow more exurban sprawl.
Reacting (badly) to good questions from CBC’s @michaeltgorman.bsky.social, NS Premier Houston falsely suggested it was Trump-like to report on his appointment of a former campaign manager as a judge. Then Houston attacked the media for doing their jobs. Just. Like. Trump. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
They also gave the Minister of Housing new authority in HRM to direct Halifax Water to extend water, and wastewater infrastructure to “enable growth”. By growth do they mean unsustainable sprawl?
Hahahaha. And the Province will pay for all the extra infrastructure spending right?
To be fair their hands are tied based on the rules so they likely can't recommend otherwise. It will be councils place to make an exception for it which I'd be amazed they don't figure out a comprise.
Oh! Actually the article says it will eventually get built. Didn't see it in the planning documents.
Sad the walkway over the highway isn't in there. Hoping it returns.
We could fund the budget if only there was a tip jar every time it came up.
I guess he's not there either but seems odd to raise it in that context though.
Funny how he deliberately chimed in during budget debate earlier this week to say councilors were falsely putting words in his mouth saying he was calling for a flat tax rate and then there it is directly in his statement. www.youtube.com/live/u63Yhza...
I want a motion that they can't use the word consider in motions. Must be something definitive like implement etc
That worked so well each round council ask staff to consider active transit for the Windsor Street Exchange.
i might have to make an exception for their chicken strips
The headlights also say "I'm very afraid of driving in the dark."
The best comment I’ve seen so far in response to Tim Houston’s latest Remembrance Day-related manufactured drama has been; “if the provincial government really wants to show they think Remembrance Day is important, they should finally recognize it as a statutory holiday in Nova Scotia”
Much more housing should be permitted in Halifax's South End specifically
Fun to see the developers up in arms over something they'd be all for except when it's next door to them.
And a regular full size cup already shrunk years ago. They're taking away everything good.
Above ground terminal seems a much better idea.
I would so love this to happen, we need to halt car bloat. If the US doesn't want cars built here we absolutely should adopt EU regulations.
An upside [for Canadians] to the deterioration in the Canada-US relationship is that Ottawa is now more open to the idea of adopting EU standards over US ones. Hopefully this continues to building standards as well.

Got the boob buttons unfortunately. Lego quality going downhill
This chart illustrates the difference in cost of providing similar services to urban and suburban Halifax. The costs have undoubtedly gone up since this chart was made, but the difference is still there. Is it really so unfair to charge suburbanites to park downtown?
Can Cathy come back please. Shame we lost her in this mess.
Andy is having a rough afternoon
