I would sack Slot now, today. Should have done it in November, but sack him now. Put anyone else in charge, reserve coach, interim manager, pick a different fan every week if needs be, but Slot needs to go. Donβt see why he gets to see the season out after these performances. #LFC
Behind to Galatasaray going into the 2nd leg which is looking an uphill task for this team, City in the FA Cup which we are never going to beat, and currently 6th in the Premier League and struggling to get form. Woeful. #LFC
Liverpool have to come away with something this evening. If Galatasaray go to Anfield with a lead, they will sit deep, defend in numbers, and counter attack. Something we know we canβt cope with. #LFC
Happy birthday!
Seen as Iβm not in work tomorrow, going to enjoy a Sunday evening beer or two. This is superb stuff by Sureshot x Lervig. #Beer π»
Wigan beer festival done. First time there and very impressed with the cask and keg selection. Will be heading back next year. #Beer
Let the beer festival commence!
Early start on a Saturday for me today. At the station waiting for the train as off to Wigan beer festival.
Off to Wigan festival myself today. πΊ
Had a dream last night that the next instalment in the Lego game series was a remake of GTA2. It was a kid friendly entry into Grand Theft Auto series. I think this needs to happenβ¦
With City and Liverpool, other managers were praising the teams for the way they played, how good they were, but with Arsenal as league leaders everyone is saying how anti football their play is. Awful season which needs to end. Donβt know many football fans enjoying the sport.
I think that might be the last LFC game I watch this season. Wasting my time watching these performances every week.
Shocking by LFC. Some very poor performances out there today. Gakpo, Salah (even though he scored), MacAllister, Gravenberch. Particularly bad on corners today, so wasteful. Losing to the team at the bottom of the table. We still need a manager change, it has to happen. #LFC
Itβs not a βsmash and grabβ when Wolves have played some decent football and LFC have been utter shit.
Shocking thing is that Iβm not surprised. Become used to it this season.
I fell asleep watching that first half of the LFC game if was that boring. Just woke up in time for the start of the 2nd half. Letβs see how long before it makes me fall asleep againβ¦ #LFC
In light of this Brewdog news, wonder what will happen with the Brewdog sponsorship of the St Helens stadium.
Having this for old times sake. Brewdog is dead from the looks of it.
Same here! I run 5km and I ache for days. Would love to get back to fitness but just doesnβt seem to be want to happen. Swimming is the way for me now. You could organise a βswim in a load of beerβ event maybe.. ππ
Brewdog as much as itβs lots its way a long time ago still gave way to lots of independent / local beers in its local bars, from what I saw anyway. Imagine in the future it will all be big breweries and small breweries pushed out for cheap money makers.
On a separate note was walking around Manchester earlier and walked past the canals. Reminded of when you organised that 10km brewery run starting and ending at Beer Nouveau. That was a good event that, really enjoyed it.
Seems about right. Can imagine they wonβt be branded under the Brewdog label in the future? Brewdog will become a Beavertown style macro brand, see cans in supermarkets and beers on tap in chain pubs.
Reading the latest Brewdog buyout rumours I reckon majority of bars will close. Think a London bar will stay, maybe Manchester outpost (as it has a small brewery in it), Birmingham, Edinburgh. Those they stay will be under a new identity, serving a range of beers.
Madness isnβt it? Itβs cheaper for me to fly from Liverpool to Dublin to Newcastle than a direct train to Newcastle. It needs addressing. Anywhere else in the word and train travel is cheap and encouraged.
I havenβt been to Newcastle for ages, need to get back there. A great beer city. Return prices for a family of 3 from Liverpool put me off. Our rail network is broken in terms of pricing.
We all agree the Premier League has been awful this season, standards at an all time low. Arsenal winning it with their brand of Stoke football might not be a bad thing. They will tie Arteta into a long term contract and once standards pick up again he will struggle massively.
Not a bad place to spend a Monday afternoon. The Birthday Imperial Stout is tasting rather superb. #Beer πΊ
