I think part of the reason people call themselves “content creators” is insecurity. The term comes with bare minimum expectations. If you give yourself a “real” label (comedian, actor, photographer, documentarian, etc), you’re inviting a higher level of scrutiny.

This was very much a story that grew its own legs and ran away from me, but I wanted to ensure it was finished. I kept wanting to add more people, but I felt the core point should stay exploring Asura's character and showing off the cafe through the eyes of my friend Pim.

Leo and Malle have been in stories before, but I just never posted them, so I made them the other two interruptors lol.

I think what drove me most when writing this was wanting that feeling of "the burden of being known" and how warm and wholesome it can really feel.

I was worried about the second, even though I really wanted to write them. I think their character has absurd narrative potential, but it feels weird asking for them to guest star in something like this. So I left them unnamed just in case they'd like to remain distanced from my work!

First cameo was always gonna be Xen. I just think our dynamic makes for very funny inspiration.
