I think I must have worn the Zeno on a NATO strap from Howard! I haven’t thought about him in years. I bought an O&W RAF-style chronograph from him around the same time I bought the Zeno. His website was West Coast Time, a rudimentary Yahoo e-commerce store.

I do remember the Seamaster homage and I could not get over the Velveeta lume enough to pull the trigger on one! The Blancpain/Squale homage thankfully didn’t have the same treatment.

Back to Zeno, I had their Blancpain/Squale homage and it was a very cool watch, quite well made and had a high domed acrylic crystal that was fantastic. Super comfortable on a NATO. I miss that watch. I later had a Squale and I have to admit that I preferred the Zeno.

Eddie Platts/Timefactors was a major retailer of Zeno at that time (maybe still is?) but he is a cantankerous sort to deal with. He later bought the Smiths brand and revived it with those 1016 homages. And he owns TZ-UK where he doesn’t tolerate criticism of himself, Timefactors, etc.
