At twelve years old I was dragged by my older cousin to see the Martin Scorsese period piece 'The Age of Innocence.'
It's 139 minutes long and I hated each one of those minutes. It's well reviewed, I love historicals, but I cannot fathom watching it again.
I'm not entirely sure where the tradition originates, but in my family it was always shellfish and eggs for New Year. The eggs I can kind of see symbolism (gold inside, etc), but the crab... unclear.
