It’s a tricky one to grow! They don’t tolerate any transplanting so you gotta start from seed at the location. Use nail clippers to nick edge of seed to help germination, and order lupine soil inoculant from prairie moon to plant with it - species is super reliant on specific soil microbes.
Here's a few photos of the mature flowers from a couple years back. Most of this species are pink but this patch tends to produce a lot of quite purple ones too!
