Oh lucky, lucky you! ๐ฅฐ
What a find x
That's going to put a few off! ๐คฃ
My grandson solemnly informed me that my "great-granchild" was really just his sister's doll. I think he was worried I'd be upset ๐ฅ
Squirrel looking in the through the door at my Grandson playing
Here's our resident squirrel checking to see if my Grandson had any nuts for them
Stanpit Marsh at high tide with a swan on the water in the reflected sunlight. Hengistbury Head in the distance.
Stanpit Marsh at high tide, the footpath disappears into the water.
Defeated by the volume of water today & it's not at its highest yet.
We're taking part, but will our birds?
The last few years they've all waited round the corner for an hour! ๐
I agree Stephanie, my daughter & her family are trying to make the leap from starter flat. As second time buyers there is no Government Scheme to help & stamp duty is a huge expense for them.
Increase in house prices just makes it all harder.
We've a handsome little chap in our garden. He's also an absolute thug & zooms around like a seek & destroy missile as the other birds try to eat from "his" feeders
Our local pub used to be a warm & friendly place to meet with friends & neighbours. Covid changed our habits & to entice people in the pub now shows a lot of football matches.
We do still go occasionally at lunch times, but avoid the evenings.
Any tips on how to stop the work curling? I've read books & watched videos on technique but I still get a terrible curl ๐
I'm lucky enough to tick 3 of those.
Not the puffin though, now I need to see a puffin!
Happy New Year & good luck on your quest ๐
Oh that's impressive!
I thought I was doing well with 97.5
Happy New Year x
Fingers crossed ๐ค
Many thanks for this Lae, very helpful x
Paw Patrol Chase jumper.
Thanks Lae, I went with a standard cast off, but made the neck a little wider. Hopefully it'll be good for him
These are beautiful! How do you manage all the yarn ball? I have enough trouble when doing one at a time.
You have my admiration x

Nice bit of symmetry this morning ๐
The press release page on the website is very good, but pretty well hidden.
I get The Labour Rosette email, but reads like election campaign material rather than a newsletter to supporters.
I'm not criticising what the government are achieving, just think they need to be blowing their own trumpet a bit louder.
Perhaps they could start with their supporters? I'm on the Labour mailing list & the emails I get are mostly asking for donations; there is very little content telling me what they have achieved.
Ooo! That's lovely.
I've not come across that pattern before, but have downloaded from Ravelry. Thank you x
Good luck x
Check your wi-fi calling is still enabled, I lost mine following a security update in the summer (samsung s20fe I think)
My grandchildren are at Pokesdown Community Primary & love their school dinners. Chef Russ is a bit of a hero with them.
They're beautiful ๐
I love knee high socks x
Are there knitters out there with experience of knitting for children with autism?
What's the best rib cast off for the neckline? I don't think he's had any issues with previous knits of k1 p1 cast off, but I'd like to make it the best Nanny Knit I can.
I'm considering an Italian sewn CO?
Thanks x
I love the understated "displeased" of your alt text ๐คฃ
I wish you all the best of luck!
Minority representation on TV causes outrage
From the new Private Eye, in shops now.
We didn't have a referendum on leaving the EU either, just a non-binding opinion poll ๐ข
