Donald Trump’s interim Social Security head is firing staff at a level to cripple the system’s effectiveness. He appointed one of Musk’s DOGE staff as chief information officer who will have access to all recipients financial information.
The more we learn, this looks like the Keystone Cops are in charge of national security. They are not remotely credible with their disinformation about the whole affair.
The US has long been a powerhouse in basic scientific research, medical breakthroughs and subsequent biomedical businesses. Trump is undermining this and we will suffer the consequences.
