i didn't get here by myself though, i am thankful for my friends and the one who guided my vision back to my soul. i almost wanted to stifle it all again, but fighting to keep it in sight has been the best decision of my life in the last 5 years. i love my soul. i love myself.

i am thankful to have proper sight of myself and what is most important to me again, and although the present is hard, i can only hope that the future holds more safety, healing and peace.
i know for me, that the key to all of that lies in remaining in touch with and listening to my soul.

adult me was not ready for the world, kid me was forced into hiding, when we came out the world just wanted to use us, we coped bad with that. people who used us for themself, who brought out the worst in us, taking everyone's pain onto ourself like it was our job, we lost sight and hurt others too

kid me knew ten times better than 20 year old me what we wanted and needed in life, before we lost sight of it and got misguided. while i don't think they'd have the capacity to be proud of me for getting back in touch with it all, i know they'd be in awe, and they'd feel safe and happy.
