I’m imagining a bunch of MAGA guys going “yaaaaas, king!”
Anyways. Horrible. But brought a momentary smile to my face.

Dear news: please start normalizing attaching the complaint or providing the case number in your articles. Thank you!!!
We haven’t yet figured out how to effectively train AI on stuff that hasn’t happened—like deescalation to avoid war. So integration of more AI in war and defense will invariably lead to more aggression. Not great. Buckle up.
Moving fast and breaking things is… bad???
What I find so interesting is that the ~*whims*~ of a few billionaires are gonna send the rest of us careening off of a cliff into climate catastrophe and job market collapse. We’re all buckled into a ride that they’re just…kinda…building…without any major regulation. Just vibes.
Can we all get a vote on this before we (further) destroy jobs and the environment? 😕
AI relies upon theft.
If we lose the ability to observe chain of thought (CoT) in AI models, stuff’s gonna go south REAL QUICK, you guys. Pay attention.

“AI” is destroying us in so many ways.
The TCPA has been quite gutted in recent decisions and does little to protect consumers from unwanted calls. Now that AI is involved? Welcome to the fourth circle of hell.
Perfect being the enemy of the good, here. Prepare to go hunting for how to cancel subscriptions, again.
After several lawsuits, AT&T finally offers SIM swap protection. Hope springs eternal.
Anthropomorphizing AI makes no sense if we don’t allow folks to claim copyright on AI-produced works. This decision is misguided.
Working from my mom’s house today and something really struck me. She doesn’t answer the landline anymore. Ever. She lets it ring. “It’s either a scam or spam.” Lawmakers have utterly failed to curb this nonsense. #TCPA #scams
*and get pardoned.
Kinda funny AI commercials don't have a person asking the AI to do the kind of task they'd actually ask of a person with a brain.
At various points I've tested AI products by asking them to do things I'd ask of an intern, secretary, or paralegal. 100% failure rate.
Sorry to hear Brian Wilson has died. The Beach Boys were the soundtrack of my summers, from "Surfin' Safari" on.

Think of data like an ink drop, and disclosure like a swimming pool. Once the ink is in the pool, you can’t… just… get it back. #DOGE
Yes, but… let us have this for just a couple of hours. It’s the first good thing that’s happened since January 20.
At the same time, in court:
“We own none of this. Not our fault. And even if it was our fault, no one suffered any damages. That credit card fraud? Couldn’t be us. Identity theft? Probably the individual’s fault.”

By the way: excellent job concerning accessibility and the photo captions. You’re awesome.
Just saw a TikTok of a kiosk in a Chinese airport that when you look at it, it shows you your flight info and which way to walk to your gate.
Like, *your* flight info.
Fast and reliable facial recognition is here and we need to think hard about how to regulate it, not hide from it.
