We must always be asking our cities to do better.
We also have to be the voice that leads for them to get better.

Portland’s light rail system hasn’t expanded in ten years, has no plans to do so in the future btw
But don’t worry we’ve got billions lined up to spend on continued freeway expansions!
The imperial valley is such an interesting geographic region that is
-home to some of the best citrus farmland in the US
-has amazing potential for renewable energy (solar, wind and geothermal)
-is also on the edge of a catastrophic environmental disaster (the salton sea)
City agencies should really be auctioning off old signage and items more regularly. Like yes I would love to buy a bus stop sign you’re about to change out!
Yeah this kind of messed up my commute yesterday
“Hey guys let’s just go back to the status quo that wasn’t working before! Surely this will get voters to support our policies”

I simply do not care about gas prices 😎
The only truly sovereign nations are the ones with their own nuclear arsenals.
If your nation does not have one then you are at the will of US Imperialism.
Parking lots do not belong in the center of our cities.
Has your city considered just doing publicly funded uber instead of transit? New video out now!

Portland has a 1.7 billion dollar climate fund. Here are some things we could do with that
1. Close the Trimet funding gap for a little bit
2. Fund the leach botanical gardens which is set to close in March without additional funding
3. Give 75 million of it to a billionaire for stadium renovations
People who walk their dogs unleashed are a scourge on our cities
No we just destabilize countries in the global south than take their resources.
This has been in the US playbook since the 1880s
Not much different than how the US gets materials
I don’t know what it says about the US that North Korea can modernize its metros in its largest city faster than ours despite being internationally sanctioned for decades.
There is a massive tiktok/Instagram creator who I thought was cool and doing decent posting about urbanism. Until he started posting ads about a “water purifier” that’s basically just a dehumidifier.
“You just don’t like sports” I watch my teams religiously, I do not want them to get a single cent of taxpayer money.
Giving money to billionaires to build stadiums is always a bad deal.
TriMet Leadership acts like these service cuts are an inevitability rather than fighting for funding. We have to get new leadership if we want an actual alternative to driving.
This space in Portland Oregon used to be parking for an office building. Now the block has over 600 units of housing and first floor commercial space, as well as pedestrian only streets that connect to 3 light rail lines and 2 streetcar lines. Our cities get better when we get rid of parking.
Exactly!
Lloyd center defenders only have one defense for the place and it’s the ice rink.
Dang this feels unreal
The nepo baby billionaire?
Deny it all you want. Gavin is just MAGA in a blue tie
Get this on the ballot NOW!
He is the MAGA government in blue. A massive suck up to the parasitic class of billionaires that run America
“Conservative Democrat” yea we know that’s why we hate you
Let me show you in 3 photos
1. Gavin meeting with Charlie Kirk in a friendly conversation where he admitted that his son listened to Kirk’s videos
2. Gavin agreeing with Ben Shapiro over Israel (also a massive AIPAC receiver)
3. Gavin sweeping someone’s entire possessions in a camp sweep
