Nashville Noticias staffer Estefany RodrΓguez was detained by ICE in South Nashville on Wednesday morning. There was no warrant for her arrest. Her attorneys have filed an emergency petition in federal court seeking a writ of habeas corpus, or an immediate review of whether or not her detention is legal. RodrΓguez, who was in the car with her husband β a U.S. citizen β has been following all the legal steps to citizenship. In her job, RodrΓguez has reported several stories that hold ICE accountable, and itβs unclear whether her detention was retaliation. As of Thursday afternoon, she was in Alabama en route to an ICE processing center in Louisiana.
Something I donβt think can be emphasized enough is how fast ICE is shipping the people they detain off to another state. βMove fast and break thingsβ but for people in potentially life or death situations. nashvillebanner.com/2026/03/05/j...
Trumpβs War now providing a massive influx of cash for Iranβs ally Russia so they can continue to bomb civilians in Ukraine while we ask Ukraine for help against Iranian drones. Trumpβs foreign policy in a nutshell.
Our inability to deal with drones is like having the test answers handed to you by Ukraine and then just deciding to wing it. But then giving space lasers to CBP because weeee!
I'm really glad they eventually gave the necrons some characters (both in the literal tabletop model sense and in the 'viewpoint that isn't a robot zombie' sense)
correct
there is no reason for a single one of them to vote for Mullin (yes, Mr. Fetterman, that means you) and they should make this as embarrassing as possible - which, given Mullinβs extensive track record of putting his foot in his mouth, shouldnβt even be that hard

So Ukraine helps the US beat Shaheds and the US helps Russia kill Ukrainians.

Dem Senator: weβre gonna do Nazi war crimes trials for them
I propose something bold: dinosaur shaped frozen ravioli. Dare we dream?
Let me be clear: Iβm glad Kristi Noem was fired. But we still have to abolish ICE.
The House just defeated the Massie-Khanna War Powers Resolution on Iran.
Crosses, reportedly, were-
R's voting yes: Massie, Davidson (R-OH)
D's voting no: Golden, Landsman, Cuellar, Vargas
this chart really undermines the veracity of the βRepubs are a broad national party/Dems are in bubblesβ myth that a lot of people in both parties and the punditocracy are super attached to
BREAKING: @aoc.bsky.social just came out swinging in the House E&C hearing against dangerous & misguided "age verification" legislation (aka online ID checks) that would force everyone to upload government ID or get a face scan before accessing content or posting online.
Video incoming. This is big
And ironically it'll *actually* be his fault for once!

Turns out lawlessness is not a winning strategy. See you at Nuremberg 2.0

mullin is if anything even more drunk and incompetent than noem, and also a sitting senator, so i think we really are seeing Not Enough Guys theory operationalized at the highest levels
Hegsethβs βbreath of fresh airβ comment is a grotesque insult to every ally who has fought and died next to Americans for generations, as if they were feckless, βwokeβ weaklings by comparison. Hegseth is a disgrace.
If there was video of a Senate Dem giving a compound fracture to a Marine while wearing his dress blues, that guy would've been burned at the stake by close of business

Sen Tim Sheehy (R-Montana) badly breaking the arm of a Marine veteran protesting the war Iran.
I am begging fellow candidates and electeds to not legislate things you have zero understanding of. At least ask someone if the thing you want to do is even possible. It's not *just* with tech but gods above it seems to be the worst there.
