This happened to me last week too. I think the answer I came up with for me is sometime in June...
Science is not truth.
Science is finding the truth.
When science changes its opinion, it didn't lie to you. It learned more.
The article doesnt actually mention them "distancing" themselves from Palantir, only that prompts to give your ID to Persona were "a test, which has concluded"

The voice of dog is again looking for stories and poetry for Pride Month 2026. This coming June, in what has regularly been our largest broadcast event of the year, we want to again feature stories of Queer Joy and Resilience from a furry perspective. Think in terms of "what story do you wish you had had, when you first had to come out?" Stories should be under 10k words. Poems may be any verse form. As ever, usual Voice of Dog standards apply: stories should end hopefully, no praise of bigotry, and no generative AI. We want to feature as many different perspectives, from the LGBTQ+ community, as possible. Submissions will accepted until May 1st. There is no cap on the number of episodes for Pride Month. For more information, please visit: thevoice.dog/?page=rules
Submissions for Pride Month 2026 are open!
Please get in touch with @robmacwolf.thevoice.dog to submit, or if you have any questions.
Submissions will close May 1st, to allow time for recording.

βborn to spread whimsy forced to fight fascismβ with an armed badger holding a warhammer in a forest
I learned about this from two of the YouTube channels I watch, where they can (and do) upload videos with a couple different versions of the thumbnail.
So, yeah. They can "change" periodically.

As a lifelong Orioles fan currently living in Baltimore, I should be groaning at this.
But I'm also a lifelong NASCAR fan, and so have had DECADES of learning that "Oh I think it just looks cool" is very much a thing in people wearing sports apparel.
I have a story eligible for nomination in Short Fiction:
"Mate of Dreams" in Altered States: Draconic Desires, from @furplanet.com, edited by @tjmindewrites.bsky.social.
Draconic Desires is also able to nominated in Other Literary Works.

Colonel William βWild Billβ Campbell was a member of the famed Tuskegee Airman during World War II and was the first Black pilot to drop ordinance in combat. Col. Campbell commanded the 99th Fighter Squadron and later the 332nd Fighter Group.

I believe my comment on my first run after was "And yet again, AI ruins everything..."
She returned to action after getting it replaced, and served through the rest of the war earning 17 Battle Stars, making her one of the most decorated ships of World War 2.
1:700 scale plastic model of the heavy cruiser USS Minneapolis in her 1942 all over Navy blue camo.
My project this weekend:
Finishing CA-36 USS Minneapolis.
Like her namesake city, she was tough in the face of fascists, including staying afloat after getting her bow blown of in the Guadalcanal campaign.
The job prospect that husband was strung along for two months over ghosted him this morning, we're back to nothing again, if you can spare anything to help it's as appreciated as ever.

Writing Community Introduction! Writers respond with your own intros.
Iβm Sparf. I write a little in most genres. Horror and historical, romance and erotica, mostly heavily queer.
I have been the editor of FANG (10 and 11, and hopefully more soon). I won the 2019 Coyotl for best short story.
A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Blue and Green are laying down, with Blue flopped over Green, who is still awake. Blue is sound asleep. Green: Goodnight. Green looks uncomfortable as Blue begins to radiate heat. Green: Eeeugh. How are you this warm? In vain, Green tries to wiggle himself free, but Blue, laying solidly on top of him, neither moves nor wakes up. Green: HnnngyÀÀÀh! Green gives up, while Blue, still peacefully asleep, only continues to glow hotter. Green: How can you sleep comfortably in a puddle of my sweat?

My first memorable quote (it was the the first episode I ever watched) is probably still my favorite to live by:
We're all just stories in the end. So make it a good one. Because it was, you know.
Worries about vaccination rates in dogs As rabies seems to be spreading more in wildlife, veterinarians are especially worried about vaccine hesitancy spreading among pet owners, a dangerous trend that could lead to more dogs - and their owners- becoming infected. A 2023 study published in the journal Vaccine found in nationally representative sample of Americans that nearly 40% believed canine vaccines were unsafe and 37% believed that vaccines could lead their dogs to develop cognitive issues, such as autism.
May I remind everyone that there is currently NO cure for rabies.
May I also remind everyone there is absolutely NO scientific proof connecting ANY vaccine that we produce today with autism.
This is true regarding vaccination in both humans AND in dogs.
Vaccinate your pets please.

Things will be okay once I hit my meds deductible, but I need $250 for these meds/the deductible.
Now more than ever I could really use the help. If you can spare anything, send me a few bucks: nudebat.carrd.co
