Honored to be appointed Co-Chair of the DNC Task Force on Technology alongside Rebecca Lambe of Nevada.

Democracy being in peril would feel different. I wouldn't be a poll observer in Chesterfield County. My neighbors wouldn't be poll workers. If democracy is weakened, the outcry will come from people you never hear a peep from about politics.
Part of the problem is that the word democracy has become overloaded. It's not democracy that feels in peril to me right now. It's more like state capacity, rule of law, constitutional rights, and truth (scientific, historical & personal truth). But not democracy.
