Been promising myself one of these for ages, so as I'm having a bad day, just ordered volume 1.
Lego set of flowers and plants in a yellow vase. Set number 40588
Two small non lego builds. One of an angle poise lamp. The other of an open book on a book rest with a couple of books on a shelf next to it. Both builds are shown on a bookshelf
Two little weekend builds. One #lego. One not. Got to say for a cheap couple of kits the lamp and books came together well. And the bulb in the lamp does work

Secondly, the newest Stuart MacBride has arrived. I did pre-order the signed edition, and isn't that a pretty signature page

Cover of the poems and songs of Robert Burns. People Edition
Meant to post this yesterday for #Burns Night. One of the oldest books I own. The peoples edition of Burns Poetry and Song from 1896. As I'm getting old I can't read it now without a magnifying glass as the print is so small
Happy Birthday. Just seen your newsletter. My condolences on your loss
It is used to separate bricks, there's a nice instruction page on the lego website. It's also quite useful for lining up stickers to put on bricks

Thats one I've never seen, off to eBay I go
That is so useful thank you. Its identified it as a Eurasian Sparrowhawk which given the number of Sparrows we attract isn't a surprise
