17 days into switching to arm64 linux as my daily driver and it's going great. Started diverging from Apple more than a decade ago from being so user/developer hostile. Current events were the nudge I needed.
Yesterday was down a rabbit hole where I wanted a Dynabook-like device, running a living environment like Squeak/Smalltalk + Interlisp with a look and feel like Picotron. Want this to exist.

Watched Ready Player One in mixed reality on a Quest headset with a giant virtual screen kicked back on the living room couch last night and it was quite the meta experience (pun intended unfortunately). It's a more comfortable and compelling experience than I imagined.
Love this device dearly but the plastic is far too thin and brittle. Thankfully managed to avoid cracking anything so far.
